About Maruti eVX

Model unveil date

The Maruti Suzuki eVX concept was unveiled on 11 January at Auto Expo 2023.

Variants

Since the Maruti Suzuki eVX is a concept SUV, the automaker has not yet revealed the variants details of the model.

Feature list

Appearance-wise, the eVX has a butch stance. It flaunts an upright nose and a clamshell bonnet design similar to something you see on the new-gen Brezza. The grille isn’t pronounced and the ‘S’ logo is moved lower down the bumper. On either side, there are sleek V-shaped cuts for headlamps and daytime running lights. Lower down there’s an imposing bumper design which also integrates prominent skid plates. In the profile, there are bulging character lines around the wheel arches and flush door handles.

The eVX rides on large, blacked-out aero wheels with low-profile tyres. Moving to the back, there’s a high-positioned LED tail lamp strip running across the tailgate. Maruti Suzuki hasn’t given out the interior details of the eVX Concept but promises that the platform offers ‘class-leading cabin comfort, convenience and connected features’.

Engine, performance and specifications

The Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept when launched in its production guise will make use of a 60kWh battery pack with safe battery technology. Although power outputs aren’t disclosed, the automaker claims a driving range of 550 kilometres.

Safety

The Maruti Suzuki eVX has not been crash tested and thus, there is not safety rating available of the concept.

Competition

Maruti Suzuki’s eVX production version when launched in 2025 will rival the likes of Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, Mahindra XUV400, and MG ZS EV.
